ON

Vision & Values for A New Social Order

Right kind of vision and values are vital for fostering good character and conduct at individual level and for restoring good governance at societal or state level. At both the levels, we have failed.

The cause and consequence, the reasons and results of this failure are closely interlinked and self-evident. The deep degeneration which we are witnessing in the quality, culture and collective way of our life and society today, can be directly attributed and ascribed to corresponding corrosion in our core visions, values and concerns which have deviated from social & spiritual to become excessively consumerist and materialistic.

There will be no end to this alarming deterioration in the conditions of human health, harmony and happiness unless we inwardly undergo a paradigm shift and learn to train and transform the nature and quality of our consciousness, thinking, attitude and behavior from negative to positive, narrow to broad, materialist to moralist, grabbing to sharing and from competing & conflicting to cooperating & caring.

Each human being constituting the basic unit and building block in the entire edifice of our total social infrastructure, it is the inner empowerment of every individual-self through the practice and promotion of India’s ancient spiritual wisdom, eternal values, raj-yoga meditation, simple, positive and healthy lifestyle that will pave the way for people’s holistic development and society’s sustainable growth.

The Press or Mass Media, being the most powerful pillar in a democratic set-up, representing public interest and societal cause, has the onerous responsibility and moral obligation to address this primary issue of empowering masses and society not only by disseminating mere worldly knowledge and information, but also by highlighting, projecting and popularizing spiritual knowledge, visions, values, lifestyle, ethos and culture among masses for building better life and for bringing in a golden era of peaceful, prosperous, just, equitable and benevolent social order.

Precisely with this objective in retrospect, Media Wing of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya’s Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation is holding and hosting the 3-day All India Media Conference at its Shantivan Complex, Abu Road, Rajsthan with the umbrella theme: Vision & Values For A New Social Order.

Todays Murli Essence

When you reach your karmateet stage you will go to the land of Vishnu. Only the children who pass with honours become karmateet.

Both Bap and Dada make the effort to make you children worthy of heaven, completely virtuous and 16 celestial degrees full. It is as though you have received a double engine. He teaches you such a wonderful study that you claim your sovereignty for 21 births.

In order to watch the scenes of bloodshed without cause at the end, you Shiv Shaktis have to become very fearless. By having remembrance of the Almighty Authority you can take power from Him.

True spiritual service is to become pure and make others pure. The whole effort is in remembrance. Remember Me and you change from impure to pure and grow to be satopradhan. Become doubly non-violent. Be a stick for the blind and show everyone the way home.

BLESSING: May you be a soul who is constantly merged in love – lost in love - and, while doing service, experience yourself to be racing with experiences of remembrance.

SLOGAN: To accept success means to finish your reward for the future.

- Om Shanti -
